Polishing and refinishing

We sand back old, scratched or uneven finish and re-polish in natural polish, melamine or PU, or paint the piece if you want a new look. Polishing is usually done at our workshop so it dries dust-free.

How it works

2. Small repairs – hinges, handles, drawers, loose joints – are usually done at your home in one visit.
3. Bigger work – re-polishing, rebuilding frames, termite repair – we take the piece to our workshop and bring it back finished.

Questions people ask

Is it worth repairing old furniture?

For solid wood like teak, sal or sheesham, almost always – repair costs much less than new furniture of the same wood. For cheap particle board, we will tell you honestly if replacing makes more sense.

Do you repair modular kitchens and wardrobes?

Yes – hinges, channels, swollen shutters and broken shelves in kitchens and wardrobes.

Can you match the colour of my existing furniture?

We match the polish colour as closely as we can. If an exact match matters, tell us when you send photos and we will discuss it before starting.
